How to order

To order products from this website simply navigate your way through the category index at the top of the home page. You can then select the items you want by pressing the "add to basket" button. You can see the items selected in your basket at the top right hand side of the page. On some items,such as suet treats or mealworms you will have some options to select,such as flavour or pack size.There is a "drop down box" to select options but this may not work if you are viewing a product on a category list page. If you click on to the actual product for further info , you should then be able to make your choice.

When you have finished shopping you can view your basket prior to checking out. At this stage you can still delete items or amend totals but you will need to update your basket before continuing. If you are a new customer you will be invited to register for an account. At this point you will probably see that the delivery cost box will be set as zero,as this is the default website setting. when you enter your address details the postage will update to the appropriate amount dependent an your location(see delivery costs). You do not need to create an account to shop with us but the benefits are that it will keep your address details on file making future ordering faster.It also keeps a record of previous orders so that you can place repeat orders. You will need to enter your address in full and may then be prompted to enter the code words/numbers shown in the box. This is to determine that you are human and not a computer program trying to get into our site and cause trouble!!

You can then press "checkout" to go through to the payment section,(sometimes, particularly if you are not resident in our free delivery area,you may find your basket reloads to the same page with the message box asking you to select your shipping method.There should only be one option so highlight it and press checkout again)

You then reach the payment page where you have three options. You can pay by debit or credit cards,or you can make an online bank transfer from your own online banking account(this one will not work automatically.it will give you our account numbers that you will need to write down).If you live in our local free delivery area,you can also choose to pay on delivery.You can also pay by Paypal.

Once you have made your choice you should receive an order acknowledgement which you can print off as a receipt.

If you are a returning customer you can log in before selecting your items.Some computers will allow you to log in automatically or stay logged in. If however you have any problems logging in,you can reset your password by pressing the link "forgotten your password?" this will send you a link to reset it. Please remember all passwords and email addresses are case sensitive. if you have registered with us before, you will need to log in to order. The system will not allow you to order as a new customer as it will recognise your email address and tell you that it is already in use! If you have any problems logging in please phone me or use the contact us button on the home page and we can reset it. We usually use your surname which you can then use to log in.And once in,you can go into your account to change it back to one of your own choosing.
