Spring has sprung
This time of year is particularly significant for robins as they establish territories, attract mates with their melodious songs, and prepare for the breeding season. Their vibrant red breasts make them a delightful sight against the fresh green backdrop of a spring garden. During this period, robins are highly active, searching for a varied diet to replenish their energy reserves for the demanding tasks of nesting and rearing their young. Offering mealworms, finely chopped nuts, and soft fruits can provide a valuable nutritional boost. Suet cakes and balls, especially those tailored for insectivorous birds, are also excellent for providing high-energy food.
